Collects and performs data entry tasks for all student data required by Department of Education and District, e.
g.
, health, schedules, attendance, academic history, report cards, ESE.
Performs numerous essential record keeping tasks to organize and maintain department information and filing systems.
Maintains and verifies accuracy of various departmental reports and databases.
Files various documents and records as instructed by departmental guidelines; may retrieve files upon request.
Establishes, collects, organizes and maintains data pertaining to assigned clerical tasks and compose departmental reports as requested.
Files correspondence, reports, records and materials according to appropriate departmental guidelines.
Works with administrators, teachers, Information Services and the FTE analyst to determine the accuracy of all data.
Completes FTE reporting tasks.
May answer telephone inquiries concerning departmental activities and operations; accepts, screens, and routes telephone calls; greets and directs visitors, as and when appropriate.
Assists with the resolution of minor routine administrative and operational problems.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED Supplemented by a demonstrated ability to perform general office support functions to include basic knowledge of office equipment and standard office procedures Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience Full
