We are searching for a Full-Time, Skilled, Dependable Warehouse Associate for our Ocala Location.
The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the warehouse functions and facility maintenance functions including receiving, sorting, storing, handling, and preparing.
This position requires training at our Sanford location, the ideal candidate should live in Lake County, FL.
Responsibilities:
Run Parts to technicians/installers as needed.
Pull and stage parts in the morning for field staff.
Promptly and accurately unloads, receives, and verifies incoming materials.
Examines incoming shipments for damage, and accuracy, and reports discrepancies.
Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
Records quantity of all incoming materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer software.
Accurately places materials in designated storage areas in an orderly manner.
Safely operates all necessary types of equipment to conduct a particular phase of the warehouse cycle.
Performs routine equipment maintenance.
Adheres to all safety requirements including the use of proper PPE.
Maintains simple reports on work orders and quantities produced.
Reads customer orders, Door orders.
Punctuality and regular attendance Marks materials with identifying information using the appropriate method.
Assists in counting physical inventory.
Sweeps, dusts, mops, and always organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness.
May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Physical ability to do work requires frequent lifting, twisting, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, walking, and standing for 8
hours daily.
Ability to lift to (60) pounds.
Must be able to operate a forklift and have a valid driver's license that you've had valid with no major infractions for at least 5 years.
COMPETENCY, KROWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Exhibits a willingness to share innovative ideas to make processes better.
Exhibits a willingness to work in a team environment.
Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and safety rules and regulations and prepare warehouse reports as needed.
Sufficient visual acuity (Corrected) to read instructions, distinguish color, operate machines, and visually inspect parts produced.
Sufficient manual dexterity to operate machines properly.
Patience with problems and issues Able to change focus frequently and often while being detail orientates and will-organized.
Strong time management skills Valid Driver's License mandatory 5 years with no suspensions or major infractions such as DUI, DWI, Careless/Reckless Driving.
Ability to communicate effectively with personnel, and other warehouse employees.
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Willingness to work 40 hours per week with possible mandatory/voluntary over-time.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude and language High school diploma or equivalent Compensation:
